Hakan Karahan
Board of Directors & Sports Coordinator at Tennisfreunde
Hakan is a certified tennis coach, sports educator, and founder of the Karahan Tennis Academy, with over 20 years of experience coaching players of all levels. After earning his degree in sports education in Izmir, Turkey, he served as Sports Coordinator and Head Coach, managing a team of 15 trainers in a professional tennis center. As Turkey’s national coach from 2000–2007, Hakan guided the country’s top players before moving to Berlin in 2010.

Anil Yüksel
Anil, a former professional tennis player with career-high ATP rankings of 492 in singles and 465 in doubles, has won four ITF doubles titles and represented Turkey in the Davis Cup with a 4–3 record. Anil transitioned to Rafa Nadal Tennis Academy as a coach, where he honed his skills in a world-class environment. He now brings his expertise and passion to the Karahan Tennis Academy, contributing to the development of players at all levels.
Alp Gölcüklü
Alp achieved remarkable milestones early in his tennis career, ranking among the top 50 players in Europe by the age of 14 and breaking into the top 30 by 16. By 18, he had established himself as one of the 100 best players in the world, showcasing his exceptional talent and dedication to the sport. Alp’s impressive journey highlights his commitment to excellence and his deep understanding of high-performance tennis.
Theo Passenheim
Theo is a dedicated tennis coach with a DTB C license and a passion for the game both on and off the court. As an ambitious player with an LK1 ranking, he competes in the regional league while pursuing his studies in sports science. Theo combines his competitive experience and academic knowledge to inspire and develop players at all levels.
